Energizer

OliverWhat a fantastic life it is when you live with a little 3-year-old. So much energy and fun that comes out of them.

Waking up in the morning and being happy and bouncy asking for his beautiful cars. All full of cuddles and kisses when being dropped of at Kindy. Often saying how much he loves you.

And all the plans and dreams he has, just listening to them is amazing. All the “why” all the time – makes you have to think and explain – questions are a good  thing. Dont just ignore them – ask questions back if they are not happy with the answer and you will get some amazing explanations that you can keep in your energyfile.

I wish that it was possible to record everything and keep in memory files to be able to call on later in time. Most importantly though is to remember to live in the now and take time to enjoy life to the full when it is happening.

You will always have now! Try to relax about things in the future – make sure you make the most of time  and definately move past unhappy memories into the files – they will only make you feel bad. Make sure you think and act happy, with Love, at all times. Dont fret about things that you cant do anything about – try to find a way to get past these hurdles in a smiling way. Smile and the world will smile at you! The rest will come 🙂

Happy Days!!

Wonders of little ones

It is amazing with little two-year-olds.

We were at the beach last week, playing in the sand, when I happened to put my handprint on the sand – and Oliver just followed – how much they pick up and want to copy. Their little minds racing along, learning heaps and heaps.

And his thoughts and words that just jumble out, but sometimes fits so well into the situation.

Oh – and the energy when they are happy – I wish I could have some of that.

Start of the day – Toddler style

Early morning in our household  – little Oliver wakes between 5.30 and 6 am – and I am normally lucky to get a lye in until 7. If we are at home (not doing kindy) we watch In the Night Garden together. What a wonderful program and way to start the day!

It is so much like a toddler – simple but yet very cheerful, repatative but sweet. Oliver (2 1/2) just loves it and it makes me very happy too. Just right for my goal to be happy and appreciate life around me now.
