Niclas had a great weekend sailing the Port Stephens regatta. Four days of Sailing in light winds with sunshine and good company on Wailea.
There are plenty of dolphins in Port Stephens and we had many of them swimming next to the boat during one race.

At the last Adventure squad for term 1, the kids had a visit from a filmteam from Singapore who were filming an episode for a children’s tv show which will be shown in Australia and Singapore next year.
This time we decided to take the ferry over to Watsons bay and see the start. First plan was to sit on the Harbour side of South Head and then move over as the boats came around, but then we decided to sit on the Ocean side, have our lunch, and the see the boats round and set spinnaker (because that was how the wind blew.) We had a great day out.
Today, Oliver went sailing for the third time at MHYC, where he sails an optimist. He enjoys going and gives us many entertaining explanations of what they have learned and how you sail.
The weather this past week has been lovely and warm and today Niclas and Sanna went to Chinamans Beach when Oliver sailed – the beach is just around the corner from the boat club and Oliver sails just outside the beach. It was nice to see how far he has come. And we managed to get some lovely photos after having had a nice long dip in the sea.
Sunrise on the first day at work for Sanna
On Friday, I, Sanna, started working again. A 6-month contract as Project Administrator at North West Transit Link – the office is in the city for another month and then moves out to Macquarie park. More on the project to come next week.
