Sanna and Niclas went to the Blue Mountains for a weekend to spend a night at the Palais Royale. Sanna had won the weekend away at the Xmas in July party at work.
We decided to take the train there, and we had a great weekend. The Saturday was warm and sunny. After lunch in Katoomba, we checked in at the hotel and then walked down to the Scenic world to have a look around. Ended up going on the steepest incline railway in the world.
Drinks at another iconic hotel in Katoomba, lovely Art Deco before dinner.
Waking up on Sunday morning, the cloud base was below ground and we decided on some changed plans for the day. Took the train to Wentworth falls where we found a nice Art Deco coffeeshop and bookshop to sit and ponder and have lunch at before heading back towards Sydney on the train.
Got off at Parramatta and took the ferry back to Sydney, down in the valley below the mountains the sun was shining.

Roligt att höra hur livet fungerar “down under”. Hopas allt väl med familjen. Har haft Erik Jungstedt som datorhjälp då Magnus nu tycks ha fast jobb. Vädret här är inte som Arustralien men mycket varmt för årstiden och ibland ganska vackert trots att det är november. Skymning 1450 ! Hans Josephson
